Should be 11wks 1 day-

So, yes, I should be 11wks 1 day today... if Nombie is still alive. Still terrified that it won't be, and still trying my best to take it one day at a time.

I didn't have any spotting/bleeding at all for four blissful days, but then Friday it came back. Go figure. Still on bed rest, trying not to move too much (trust me, with this heat that's not hard. Gah!), and just waiting for Tuesday to get here so we can see if it's still alive or not.

I purchased a doppler, and got it in the mail yesterday. I couldn't find the heart beat. I'm hoping it's just because it's too early, or I'm not using it properly... and not that the baby is dead. Because that'd really suck,

Did I mention how scared I am about losing the baby? Yeah.

Is it Tuesday yet?

I found that when using the doppler early on it was easier to find the HB with more gel - don't let it dry out. So don't be shy about it and lube it up.

Tuesday will be here soon! Hang in there!

I always look for your blog posts every day. I do worry about you and Nombie. Hopefully you'll soon be done with the worst of the worrying. Oh who am I kidding, I've heard that that worrying only gets worse after you give birth and they grow up before your eyes.

I'm thinking of you. I'm praying for you and Nombie.

I don't know you, but I've prayed my heart out for you and Nombie (and your husband...although, probably a little less passionate for him than for you and the baby ;).

I read every update and hold my breath hoping for good news.

Hang in there. I'm believing for you.

I am praying for you too. And holding my breath. I say, maybe bring the doppler to your appointment on Tuesday. If please God Nombie is still alive you can explain that you need the reassurance and can they please help you practice with yours? Also, why not call and say Hey I bought one and can't find a heartbeat can we move my appointment to Monday?

And lastly, Nombie might be hiding. Peter would sneak off ALL THE TIME and they would hunt and not find and I would be in tears on the table just waiting for bad news.

Really hoping your baby is ok. Most dopplers don't work this early, so dont let that worry you.

Hey, lay down flat and put the doppler right on your hairline (or where hairline should be) underneath your belly button. You may have to go a little to the right or left depending on what side the baby is on but you should definately hear the heartbeat. I did the same thing when I first got my doppler but was told by another friend that I was trying to listen to high up. LOL! :) I am rooting for Nombie that he/she has a safe, healthy arrival

I couldn't hear on my doppler 'til baby girl was four-five months! It took me a lot longer. But I'm bigger, so it had a lot more to get through to pick up the heartbeat. :)
