I guess, here we go

They were open, and we are proceeding with this cycle after all. I started the Dexamethasone today, and get to pump myself full of 150ius of FSH tonight. I go back in on Thursday for a monitoring appointment.

I am still in awe about how much nicer this new clinic is.

The doctor actually recognized me when I walked in, so did the nurse. They actually remembered my history, have looked at my charts, were talking about the blood work and about it not being in yet and trying to find out more. They're extremely helpful, eager to answer questions and to give me whatever I might need. It is amazing.

Even if this doesn't work out, I am still really glad I found this office. Just the personal touches, the bedside manner, being proactive and up on new research, well... it's enough of a difference for me.

I'm still not an optimist, but I feel a little better about things today.

I am crossing everything from my fingers to my eyes for you. Yes, it does look silly.

It does make all the difference in the world!! When I switched OBs, it was the same thing... I went from a very stuck-up & unhelpful staff, to a very helpful & caring staff. I was very glad to make the switch. You'll get your BFP with this dr, I know it. Having someone you can trust take care of your TTC journey makes a huge difference.

Hey, how's the Dex going? Any crazy side effects?
If not pregnant, I start mine in about a week or so. I actually look forward to it!

No side effects from the Dex. yet :) So, I think I should be good. They do taste nasty going down, even if you swallow them super fast though (yuck!)

I'm so glad the whole office has better bedside manners. That makes everything a bit easier to deal with.

I'm so glad! Both that you can start and that you're happy with the new clinic. I was cringing when you posted about your old RE. This is such a "state of the art" field of medicine, there's no excuse for not being up to date.

Hope this is the one!

Your new clinic's staff sounds wonderful. It makes such a huge difference to be dealing with nice people who know their stuff.
Thinking good ovary thoughts for Thursday!
