Time is not on my side-

I never did post the ultrasound photos from my emergency visits, so I thought I'd go ahead and post them now.

This is from the abdominal ultrasound in the emergency room. 8wks4days, and Nombie's HB was 176bpm.

This is from my visit with my RE. The ultrasound was really blurry for some reason, maybe all the blood? This was about 11 hours after the ER one.... but technically 8wks5days. Nombie's HB was 174bpm.

Time seems to be moving very slowly from here in my bed. I'm so anxious for Monday to get here. Thankfully I have a library of books, my laptop, and a gameboy, because otherwise time would be dragging sooooo much worse. I'm trying not to look at the clock very often, it'll just make it seem like time is moving even slower.

I have to keep the bed room door shut because of our bedroom cat (the one we took in that has FIV). So all my other cats keep meowing pitifully outside the door, and trying to forcefully break it down. Every time I venture to the bathroom, I end up being assaulted with kitty love. The bedroom cat, however, is happy we're in here with him... although he does seem to ignore us most of the day... I guess the window is just more entertaining.

I'm still not eating well. I love my husband, but making meals is definitely not one of his strong suits. But he's taking great care of me, he stayed home from work the last two days and he has the weekend with me too. He did great giving my progesterone in oil injections the last two nights, which was a big relief for me.

I'm still cramping a lot, and bleeding off and on. It varies from red with clots, to brown weird textured junk. I really hope the stupid SCH is dissolving, and not harming my Nombie. I really can't bear to lose this one too.

I am relieved that you are hanging in. I was so afraid that you were back in the ER. Bedrest sucks balls. You can only feel all DOIN THIS FOR MAH BAYBEE for about three days. Then you realize you have MONTHS of it stretching ahead.

I detest being on bed rest when its prescribed. Unfortunately its prescribed for a darn good reason. Now only if it came with better entertainment I'd be more willing to do it when I have to. I really hopeful for you and Nombie. Just don't lose your sanity when on bed rest.

I'm glad that you're okay. Bed rest has to suck, but it'll be so worth it! I hope your bleeding completely stops and also your cramping. Feel better, and I'll be looking forward to more updates.

So, I left you a comment the other day with my history....I also had a SCH with my successful pregnancy. It was 8cm, which is very large. When you said you were bleeding like that I really thought that might be what it was. The first time it happened to me I was 10.5 weeks and I thought I had peed my pants. I bleed heavily until 18-19 weeks, very very scary, I was on bedrest from 12weeks-34 weeks and delivered at 34. I am really rooting for you. And again, if you need someone to listen feel free to email me. csoellinger@yahoo.com

I'm rooting for Nombie, it isn't fair that you have to go thru this, you've gone thru enough. Oh, and i was on Lovenox...but when I switched to a maternal/fetal doc at 12 weeks she took me off of it immediately because she thought it was causing the SCH to grow....just a thought. I had countless ER visits with ultrasounds with my successful pregnancy but it all turned out good in the end and I'm hoping the same for you.

Hi I am an infertile who used to have a blog ages ago and I thought I'd check to see how you are doing. First of all CONGRATS on the pregnancy!! the reason I am commenting is mostly to tell you that I had exactly the same thing when I was pregnant. The subchrionic bleeding and clots. It all sounds so familiar to me. I had bleeding on and off until about 16 weeks. We realised after a while that the progesterone vaginal caps were making the bleeding worse, so my dr switched me to a oral progesterone called uterogestan. At about 18 weeks I was walking down our passage when I felt the whole clot just fall out into my panties, of course I was hysterical, but the sonar showed that the whole clot was gone and baby was doing really well. In the end I went into labour at 24 weeks due to incompetent cervix which was due to an operation I had 2 years before after an abnormal pap smear. Nothing at all to do with the clot. I had to have a D&C after the birth because the placenta grew right through my endometrium and that aparently was what cause the clot in the first place.

Anyhow, I wish you all the best and hope that it clears up soon. I am 100% sure that this baby will be growing strong and healthy.

Love
Mandy
