Chilling-

I want to thank all of you who commented on my previous post- you're my voice of reason. I am not expecting much from this cycle, but I am just going to chill and see what happens. I start my progesterone supplements tonight.

We went to see the new nephew tonight too. Conversation was pretty awkward, but otherwise the visit went okay. I haven't held a baby in years. It was weird feeling that weight in my arms, feeling that warmth. A- had actually never held a baby before today- we've had nieces and nephews since we got married, but he's never held a baby. They intimidate him, I think, since he has no experience with them. It was hard seeing him sitting there holding the baby, and knowing that he should have held our own children a long time ago.

We didn't stay long, and I'm glad it's over with. Lots of things processing and running through my mind... I'm going to wait for them to process a little more, before I post about them.

That's hard seeing your husband holding someone elses baby. I feel your pain! Try to keep your chin up about this cycle even though I know its hard! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Saw A-'s pic with the nephew on FB...

Don't thank us...you have been very supportive as well.

I don't want to be the bucket of cold water, and I don't want to be the false cushion...I hope to say 'Yay!' soon in your blog...

As Heather said, watching your husband hold a baby that isn't yours can be painful. I completely understand. I hope that your husband (and mine!) is able to hold a baby in his arms soon that he can call his son or daughter. Fingers crossed for this 2WW!

Totally painful and raw. It's good that you didn't avoid it though. We go to visit my in-laws during christmas and our nephew will be born (hopefully). Our due date was one week apart in December. Looking forward to that :)

Oh how well I know the pain of seeing my husband holding a baby and knowing he wishes we had our own.
Wish I could hug you!

That must be so hard..
I'm sure all that stuff is going through your head..
I also watched my hubby hold a baby a while back when we went to visit a friend in hospital who had just had a baby. Well.. what can you do... some people have babies and .. others struggle..
Good luck with your IUI.. thinking of you..
